Dear Colleagues:

As part of the first phase of the Master Site Plan for the Museum of Fine
Arts, Boston, the William Morris Hunt Memorial Library will be moving
offsite temporarily, beginning this summer.

We are fortunate to have acquired the space formerly occupied by the Library
of the Massachusetts Horticultural Society in Horticultural Hall, at the
corner of Huntington and Massachusetts Avenues. The entrance is at 300
Massachusetts Avenue, and the Library will be located on the second floor.

The Library will close on Friday, July 25, 2003 for relocation. We will
reopen on Tuesday, September 2, 2003. Throughout the transition period, the
Library staff can be reached at 617-369-3385 for questions, updates, and
directions to the new facility. You can also visit www.mfa.org/library for
updated information.

After September 2, the Library will welcome visitors M-F, 1-5 pm.

Sincerely,

Deborah Barlow Smedstad
Head Librarian
