At the Tweed Museum of Art, University of Minnesota Duluth, our collections and Collections Management Policies (currently in draft form, awaiting approval by our B.O.R.) are seperate from those of other units, and the university as a whole. We do report all gifts to our University
Foundation. But the policies governing collections, acquisitions & deaccessions have been ours to develop and implement.

Curator, Tweed Museum of Art, UMD
