I once read that the western artist, Charlie Russell, while visiting with
friends, would keep a small piece of clay in his hand, which he kept in
his pocket. During the conversation he would make a small figure by touch
only with the clay, never looking at it. When he was done with the
conversation, he would pull his hand out of his pocket, and there was the
tiny sculpture.
