Greetings All,

Thank you for the suggestions and ideas. The comments backed some of my
fears. Therefore, I am going to get the board on the idea of making the
coffee hour an annual event open to the public and use it as a
membership drive. Next year I will try to get it moved to earlier in
the year, e.g. January, once I have in place a more robust marketing
strategy. Then move membership from a January to January time frame, to
a year from the date of purchase. The current board president seems to
on board with this idea.

A little bit more about the location is that the museum was for years
run by one of the founders/board president who put a considerable amount
of her own time to keep the organization open and running. However, for
the last few years the museum has gotten a bit stagnate. Hence, why I
was hired.

Again, thank you for the comments and thoughts.

Sterling
