        I am doing a research in kiosk inside the museums and I know there are a
 lot of people out there, that have been implementing one, or are currently
doing it. Moreover, I have read the ICHIM and MCN publications for 95 and other
papers. But I need answers to the following questions:
        (Please, try to be as specific as you can)

        1) What equipment must be purchased to create a multimedia kiosk?
           a) Specify a recommended MAC configuration with price is possible.
              (includind software)

           b) Do the same for IBM's compatible and Windows95 environment.

        2) Specify TouchScreen and its price.

        3) How much labor "time" does is required to create a single kiosk
           installation(i.e. multimedia documents for one kiosk at one exhibit)

        4) How much disk space is required by a video-intensive kiosk?

        5) How much maintanenace will kiosk require?


        I will really appreciate your help and answer of the above questions.
The big problem, is that usually the publications does not cover those questions
and if it does there are very general aspects of them, but the price is very
difficult to figured out. Did someone can refer me to places where I can found b
etter prices to the buy the hardware and software. I am at Milwaukee. Preapring
a kiosk proposal to the Milwaukee Art Museum, as part of my Master.
