Subject: management software

Hello,

I am seeking advice regarding the selection of a user friendly small museum
management software.

Our immediate needs are quite basic but we would like the option of getting
a bit more involved over the next year. Our primary concern at this point is
our small permanent collection which must be cataloged and maintained.
The museum's loan and acquisition activities are minimal.

As the museum is located in France, it is imperative that the software be
low-maintainence and have easily accessible online tech support.

From my research thus far, it seems that PastPerfect would meet our budget
and our needs now and in the future. The one blaring drawback that I can see
is that we use Macs. Is it worth purchasing a PC laptop to acommodate
PastPerfect or is there a comparable program that that is Mac friendly?

Thank you.
