Hello everyone.

Our museum and library is pursuing the notion of establishing an annual
fund. We are a small institution, but we have support from all over the
US due to our genealogy library. We currently do not have a membership
program, but have seen similar museums have success with annual fund
letters.

First a general question--does your museum use the money received from an
annual fund for general operating support or does it go into an endowment?

Second, a request: I am asking if you could please mail, fax, or email me a
sample of the
annual fund letter you send out. That would help me and my board make
better decisions about our letter.
