Amanda,

We have a series of plaster models that were made by the WPA in our
collection. We have them cataloged as Architect's Model/Documentary
Artifact/Communication Artifact.

I hope that gives you some direction!

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] classification question

Hello All:

I'm hoping for some suggestions on how to classify a set of objects. We
have
a set of miniature versions of historic county buildings--mostly homes,
but
also a courthouse, a school, and a library. They are 3-D wooden
exteriors, and
there is nothing in the interiors. We've always called them "the models"
but
I'm not sure what to officially call them and how to categorize them for

collections purposes. Any suggestions are welcome!

Thanks,
Amanda Dyer
