Docent Volunteer Coordinator

The Waterford Historical Museum seeks an energetic and creative part-time staff member to serve as the Docent Volunteer Coordinator.

The Docent Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for the recruitment, training, scheduling and daily management of the Museum's volunteers, who serve as docents at the museum and select events from April to October.


The Docent Volunteer Coordinator position requires strong communications and inter-personal skills as well as attention to detail.  Flexibility and upbeat personality are critical. The position will involve working 10-15 hours a week (April-October) and include some evenings and weekends.

Pay will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
 

Qualifications

*	Bachelor's degree preferred
*	Strong managerial and interpersonal skills
*	Experience working in customer service
*	Strong organizational skills
*	Experience managing a database
*	Strong computer skills
*	Desire to work in a museum setting
*	Strong communication and presentation skills
