It takes two curators to change a light bulb: one to deaccession the
old bulb and one to install the new one in an acid-free socket.

Clear light bulbs are readily available even in regular hardware stores;
ask for "crystal clear". They have more light (lumens) than regular or
soft-white.

For a handy reference, go to your local electrical wholesale house and
ask for a GE lighting catalog; you'll find those mysterious 15W bulbs
as well as clear; even a bulb with a left-hand thread.

Trivia: actually the word "bulb" refers to only the glass; the whole
assembly is called a "lamp" in the electrical trade.
