Yes, Colin, you're right it is about manners. It is difficult to
discuss "manners" since many people seem to think that "freedom"
means you can do anything YOU please without regard for others. As I
recently told my 15 year old regarding "table manners":
"Manners are not for you. They are for those who have to live with
you and watch you eating."
