I'm also interested in knowing about this study. I do have evidence, through
surveys of alumni members of the teen volunteer program I direct, that
science and technology museums do nurture the particpating teens' existing
interest in science & technology. I believe that  I could make a strong case
that the connection these teens have had to our program has strengthened
their resolve to pursue careers in science, in fact, many of my alums have
said so. There is a lot to be said for keeping interest alive!
