THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART, one of the world's finest museums, seeks an Assistant Marketing
Manager for the Direct Marketing Department. The Assistant Marketing Manager is responsible for reporting
and support functions for all merchandising direct-to-consumer activity: catalogue, internet, and retail
database programs. The Assistant Marketing Manager will analyze campaign sales, including list analysis, on
a weekly, monthly, and ad hoc basis; analyze web sales and traffic statistics; manage inventory coding and web inventory updates; maintain promotion tables for all channels; assist the Marketing Manager in the process of renting lists, processing invoices, managing postal balances, and related activities. The position will
interface with external vendors and various Merchandising departments such as Inventory, Systems, and
Fulfillment Operations Departments.  2+ years marketing experience, direct and/or e-commerce preferred.
The ideal candidate will have excellent spreadsheet and analytical skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a B.A. or B.S. degree required. A merchandising background is preferred, art-related or museum experience a plus.
