My understanding is that we can claim copyright only to that which we
created or which we comissioned as a work for hire or which was granted to
us by the previous owner of the copyright.  To answer your query, we need to
know the circumstances under which you obtained your "photographic images"
and whether at that instance you also obtained the copyright.
