$10.00-14.00 Depending on experience

Duties may include, but are not limited to: 
•	Develops and coordinates educational programs; 
•	Gives tours and conducts hands- on programs; 
•	Staffs special events and programs; 
•	Assists with set-up and tear-down of events and programs; 
•	Schedules programs and works with outside public groups and individuals such as schools, scout groups, pilot and veterans groups and others;  
•	Conducts off-site programming; 
•	Conducts marketing and publicity for programs; 
•	Supervises other PT staff  and volunteers  as Manager on Duty; 
•	Staffs front desk and gift shop;
•	 Meets and greets the public while answering public inquiries; 
•	Coordinates other similar museum duties, and other duties as assigned; 
•	Works at least 2 weekend days per month or more depending on programming and staffing, as well as occasional evening events.
The incumbent will work part-time, primarily inside the museum but occasional off-site work is required. They will work as part of a team with museum staff and with local and regional museums, other aviation museums, the Prince George’s County History Consortium, Veterans History Project, Field of Firsts Foundation, Anacostia Tributaries Heritage Area (ATHA), University of Maryland and other partners.

Experience Required: 
Experience working with educational and public programs; familiarity with museum environment; excellent customer service; comfortable working extensively with the public; knowledge of Microsoft Office; interest in history and aviation; possesses a valid drivers’ license; Bachelor’s degree desired.
