Dear Gregory,
there has been a quite interesting exhibition in Kassel (Germany) and St.
Petersburg in 1994, called "Agitation zum Glück - Sowjetische Kunst in der
Stalinzeit". A catalogue (ISBN 3-86108-509-7) has been published at the
Edition Temmen in Bremen, tel. +421-344280, fax +421-348094.
There has been a corresponding conference in Kassel, but I don't know wether
they published any articles.
