We are having problems with slide projectors. We have slide lectures in a
small auditorium, where the projection screen is 40 feet away from a
projection booth. When the lecturer is using only one projector, there is
no problem. We have problems when the lecturer is using two slide projectors
simultaneously. The lenses we have will project the images small enough to
fit on the screen, but the lenses are too heavy for the remote focus feature
to work. We use lens supports, which hold the lenses up and allow them to
move back and forth. Our AV supplier, the manufacturer of the projector, and
the manufacturer of the lens have not found any solution to this problem. We
have given the specs to both manufacturers, who say that the projectors and
the large lenses should be compatible and should be able to focus remotely.

I would appreciate hearing what types of projectors and lenses people use
for projecting two images simultaneously at a distance of at least 40 feet.
Thanks for any help!
