The Corning Museum of Glass, the foremost museum in the world dedicated to
the art, history and science of glass, has an exciting opportunity for a
Registrar.  Located in the rolling hills of the beautiful Finger Lakes
region of New York State, the Museum has just completed a $65 million
renovation.  Responsibilities include maintaining all records in electronic
database pertaining to the glass objects and related collections, directing
the movement of all objects, inside and outside the Museum and arranging
insurance and shipping of CMoG objects, borrowed objects and objects to be
acquired.  Supervises Registrar's office staff.  Must be available to travel
with objects.  Qualifications include B.A. degree in a related field
(Master's Degree desired) and minimum five years' comparable experience.
Must possess in-depth experience with electronic record keeping and have
outstanding organizational and process management skills.  Excellent
