Hello there. I am a postgraduate student at the University of St Andrews,
currently in the second year of my MPhil in Museum and Gallery studies. My
first year consisted of a Diploma in Museum and Gallery Studies, and I am
now researching the Edinburgh cabinet-maker William Trotter for my thesis.
My dual interests are decorative arts and museum education (having focused
on the latter during my Diploma). I also have a First Class M.A. in History
of Art.)
I am looking to complete an internship at an American museum or gallery
after I have completed my thesis (the deadline for this is the end of
August). I would be available for any length of time between one and three
months, ideally starting in the Fall. It would help a great deal if the
internship came with a stipend, but I realise that this is not always possible.
