We recently installed our own fiber-optic lighting into a large wooden case.  We used the NoUVIR company found at www.nouvir.com/about.html   They have cost effective, preset kits that you can modify for your own needs.  Their booklets have detailed photographs showing the variety of ways to use the fixtures.  The company doesn't help with lighting design, but can help you choose what fixtures would be best suited for you.  I hope this information helps.
