I look upon the looting with skepticism. I do believe at one time the
numbers could have been overblown to make it appear to be a tragedy, but
again now it could be underblown by the USA government to save face from a
screw_up As for any comment Rumsfeld makes, I have to wonder if the
University of Phoenix gave him an online law degree.To compare 29 artifacts
to 170,000 can be ludicris(spelling?) as well. How do we value any of these
artifacts are are priceless , is one more or less of value than another. The
government is trying to downplay a major mistake made , even though they
were warned. But if we look at the United States as a whole , where are cuts
made during tough times...the Arts and Humanties. So our priorities have not
ever lied here. OK ive started more controversy.
