Job Opening--Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, Williamsburg, VA:

INTERPRETIVE SUPERVISOR/ENCAMPMENT (#00121)
The Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation is seeking a qualified individual to
serve as interpretive supervisor for the Yorktown Victory Center's
Encampment area.  Includes supervision, assignment and evaluation of
staff and the development and presentation of interpretive programs and
special events.  TO QUALIFY:  Applicants must possess knowledge of
interpretive principles and methodology; good oral and written
communication skills; good managerial/supervisor skills; demonstrated
organization skills; historicial reserach skills; teaching ability;
demonstrated craft skills/knowledge reference to 18th-century
Revolutionary War military culture.  Considerable experience in
interpretation, training and supervision is required.  Prefereables:
Degree in history, education, anthropology, museum field; knowledge of
early colonial/social history and technology.  Salary:
$28,292-$29,581.  Position is full-time classified with VIRGINIA STATE
BENEFIT PACKAGE.  Submit Virginia State employment application by 5:00
