The list of military museums in Britain has again been revised. It has
enlarged slightly, to 284 museums and collections. Some entries have
been extensively revised, and I have been able to add URL addresses to
many more museums than in the previous version. The list has Army,
Royal Navy, Royal Air Force, Royal Marines and Fleet Air Arm museums
and civil collections of militaria, in England, Wales, Scotland,
Northern Ireland and some off-shore islands.

As before, it is accessible in two forms:

1. The entire file of about 4067 lines (c. 133 Kbytes) is at:

2. The list has also been divided into 10 parts - an introduction plus
9 geographical regions of the UK. These parts (and the whole file) can
