At Fort Calgary we are investigating the use of impromptu animation / first
person interpretation for our interpretive centre exhibits using staff
interpreters and volunteers. It is not feasible for us to have someone "in
character" or in one of these recreated spaces for an extended period of
time, therefore we need to take an impromptu approach. I would be
interested in hearing from sites using similar interpretive techniques as a
regular part of their programming.

Thanks,

Susan Norris
