I'm hoping someone out there can help me. I was given the following as
the AAM definition of a museum in a class: " an organized and permanent
non-profit institute essentially educational or aesthetic in purpose,
with professional staff, which owns and utilizes tangible objects, cares
for them and exhibits them to the public on some regular schedule." I
would like to use it as a starting point for a paper, but I don't have a
citation. Any ideas on which AAM publication it came from?
Feel free to reply to my e-mail address alone.
