        I do think David's notion of parallel interpretations is fun to
play with...Lord Chesterfield, in letters to his son, explained that God
had planted fossils as a test of faith.
        However, having been confronted by visitors at the Natural History
Musuem wher I was Deputy Director regarding being "fair" to creationism in
an exhibit on Darwin. I explained that we were a natural hostory musuem
and science center that the public spaces for religious discussions were
churches, synagoges. mosques...where I would not be offended should the
priest or minister fail to discuss Darwin.
