MUSEUM ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
(PART-TIME)

The International Museum of Surgical Science (IMSS) seeks a bright,
energetic, multi-talented individual to provide administrative support to
our organization's Museum Manager and Curator. This is an entry-level
position for someone who wants to work in a cultural setting and who seeks
exposure to the diverse demands of operating a small, specialty museum.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to; providing support to the
museum's educational outreach program; grant writing and fundraising;
hosting visitors; and performing clerical tasks such as filing, word
processing and phone answering. This position will begin at 20-25 hours a
week, but could grow in to a full-time position.

Candidate must have at least a BA from an accredited university, computer
skills, proven knowledge in grant writing or museum development, a team
player, and be flexible.  Museum experience preferred.
