Subject:  X-Ray Exhibit
 
Curators at Mystic Seaport Museum have used x-ray photographs to examine
figureheads; to see how they are put together, how they have beeen repaired,
etc.  The photos were also used in the exhibit so that visitors can learn
about the type of work that curators and conservators do.
