Do any of you apply a small administrative fee on cash donations over a
certain amount (with the fee to be used for general operations)?  For
example, changing our policy to state that we will apply a 5% admin fee
on any cash gift in excess of $XXX (say $25,000 for arguments sake).

If the cash donation was restricted or designated, the 5% (in this
example) would be released for general operations of the museum, and the
remaining 95% would be for the intended purpose.
