Joel-
        What about using the two museum studies graduate programs at the
Univeristy of Arizona and Arizona State University as a beginning? They
always have students who need internships and would most likely do them
for credit.  How about appealing to the community board for partial
funding?  Another possible route for assistance could be through
the Arizona state museum organization (Roger Lidman, Museum
Association of Arizona 602-495-0901) Finding funding for interns can be a
slow and difficult process.
