I have been lurking around this listserv for some time.
I used to work in a museum and LOVE museums.
I currently am an artist and an art organizer and an
ex-graphic designer.

I think it is good to send a resume even if a job is
not advertised.
Sometimes a job can be "created" if the right candidate
comes along.

I have also learned in my sales training that you need 9 "no's" for
one "yes."  So the more you put your resume out there the greater
the chances of finding something.
