I don't believe there is any easy way to prevent an image appearing on a web
page from being saved to disk or printed. I have used a number of images
that were copyrighted and the owner did not want them reproduced for resale.
The trick that I use is to use no more than 70 dpi and 30& compression with
a .jpg image and no larger than 400 to 500 pixels wide or tall depending
upon the aspect ratio of the image. This presents a really good looking
image on the web which can be saved to disk but when blown up to standard
paper size for printing, it looks really bad. Make the images as small as
practical for your particular web application.
