          I think that there are probably people of good will,
          including archaeologists, historians, and museum people, in
          Iraq. They are, in fact, suffering much more than we are
          because of their strange and complex history (including, of
          course, long-term US support for Hussein). Just because they
          are Iraqi doesn't mean that they are evil, any more than
          being American is a guarantee of being arrogant, no matter
          what people around the world think of us.
