FYI  This practive was innovated by the Milwaukee Public Museum about a
hundred years ago.  They developed kits, mostly natural history and
ethnology, for use in Milwaukee public school programs (back then MPM was a
city museum).  Museums have been doing it ever since.

We do it here at Texas Tech.  It works very well.  Great marketing tool.
