  Interestingly enough Murray state University in
Murray ky is going through the same situation at this
moment. A student's senior painting exhibition that is
exhibited in the university gallery is off limits to
anyone under 18. The gallery is having uniformed
security monitor the entrance to the exhibition. I can
only wonder what it happens to someone who is under 18
but a freshman at the school. I have seen the show and
although it deals with pornographic themes I do not
really find it offensive. that is not the point
though. What matters is that at an institution like a
University where learning is valued so highly, a form
a censorship exists. The last thing I have to say is
that I find it interesting that a little nowhere place
like Murrray Ky can have the same problem that NY can
have. I expect it from the bible belt but not from a
place like NY.
