SENIOR PRODUCT ASSOCIATE

The Metropolitan Museum of Art, one of the world's finest museums, seeks a Senior Product Associate.  The Senior Product Associate is responsible for supporting and assisting the Manager and working with the other departmental staff members to assure the smooth flow of products through their development stages to their successful and timely completion for sale through the Museum's retail channels.  The ideal candidate will serve as the departmental point person and work with lending institutions for all special exhibition materials and permissions.  Additional duties will include proof reading and copy-editing.  Qualification requirements are 2 + years experience in merchandise and/or arts/museum background.  Must have excellent written communication, and strong analytical skills.  Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required, with Quark a plus.  B.A. degree and knowledge of art history is required.
