Hello!
I am a graduate student at the Cooperstown Graduate Program as well as
Assistant Curator of Exhibitions at the New York State Historical
Association. I am researching Exhibits Evaluation for my thesis project and
would like to know of other museum's experiences with Exhibits Evaluation. I
plan on evaluating exhibitions at the Fenimore Art Museum at NYSHA. We are a
mid-size museum with an exhibitions schedule of about 12 exhibits a year. I
am interested in performing front-end, formative, and summative evaluations,
individually and/or collectively for 2-3 exhibitions.
I would appreciate hearing from other institutions similar to ours that have
experience in any aspect of exhibits evaluation. Please respond off list.
Thank you in advance!
Michelle Murdock
