After many years working in and for museums in the US and abroad, my
experienced staff and I have provided interim management for musuems for
many years.  Currently, we are providing these services at Lyndhurst, an
historic site musuem of the National Trust for Historic Preservation in
Tarrytown, NY. I am serving as Interim Director and members of our team are
enhancing the organization's publicity and marketing efforts. In addition to
having been an interim director for an art museum in the recent past, this
type of transitional management helps to ensure smooth operations for board
and staff and offers a chance to assess and analyze workflow and procedures
and make recommendations to the Board that will be useful for the eventual
