The Correctional Service of Canada has a museum in Kingston, Ontario. It's
located in the old Warden's House between the soon to be closed Women's
Penn and the Maximum security Male penn. In a brochure it states the the
museum "displays a variety of artifact and documents pertaining to the
early history of Canadian Penitentiaries; A variety of items ranging from
contraband weapons to escape devices; artifacts of inmate hobby crafts,
industry, education, and discipline; and takes visitors through to our
'Mission' for the future." They also have a replica jail cell and a room
showing prison art.

        I've been to the museum before and found it really interesting.
Last summer while working in another Kingston Museum I found out that there
were many people who were interested in going to a prison museum.
