The Jackson County Historical Society has been a major mover and shaker
in Western Missouri history for more than forty years and would like to
increase the county-wide cooperation among historic sites. This might
prove beneficial to every group involved with the effort.

At the same time, a collaborative effort would give more Jackson
Countians a chance to learn local history and possibly more incentive to
save local history. It is a grand idea, of course, but making it happen
is a whole other matter!
