Millennium projects go belly up

A recent GLOBAL MUSEUM news story details the demise of the £54 million
National Discovery Centre which was due to open next year in Liverpool's
Albert Dock, with an educational museum and gardens "designed to explore
themes of human discovery".

According to Patrick Boylan another Millennium "flagship" project is also in
deep trouble

I would be interested in learning of other 'flights of fancy' which may be
struggling and draining cash away from more worthy projects - such as
existing Museums!  If any members of the LIST have news please contact me
