Hello Mieke 

We require our volunteer docents to wear the same uniforms as front-of-house and education staff. We have our own design for the uniforms and the museum provides them to both staff and docents (i.e. no charge to them). We also have strict guidelines about how they should be worn and what can be worn with them. With their name badges they actually look very smart.
