Well in that case, I vote flags all around! What is she going to do- fire
the entire staff?

And have whoever is closest to the board and supportive of the issue go to
them and explain what is going on. Hopefully she hasn't charmed them so much
they'll support her, as I have seen happen in a different museum, which is
how the evil director stayed on for years despite constant staff turnaround.
