I want to publicly thank David Beiter for posting more information on the
Stradivarius story.   Like Dennis Moser, I developed an insane curiousity
on the story, and my wife and I laughed all the way home one day when I men-
tioned the strange things you find on an "off-ramp of the Interstate."  Since
then, I don't think a day has gone by that my wife (a music major) has not
asked about more details.....so again, a public thanks to David and to Dennis
for helping to whet my interest.
