I agree with Kenneth. Sharron's book is an excellent primer on the subject of
Museum marketing.

<"The Marketing Mix: promoting museums, galleries and exhibitions by Dr
Sharron Dickman is a must for anyone responsible for projecting the image
of a museum and/or exhibition. This very timely publication is pitched at a
museum community which has to recognise its part in an increasingly
competitive marketplace for education, leisure and entertainment. " Kenneth
Park, Curator, Wesley College, Melbourne, Australia

Copies of The MArketing Mix are avaiable from the Victorian Branch of
Museums Australia. Phone + 61 3 9416 1945 or (fax) + 61 3 9416 0523 or

$24.95 (Aust.)>
