To add to Audrey's list (and to correct):
COSI (the Center of Science and Industry) is now in a massive elaborate new
building across the river from downtown; the Ohio Historical Society, near
Ohio State, has a WWII show up in its museum, with some solo performances
of period material on selected weekends; the Columbus Museum of Art is near
downtown. There are three elaborately restored downtown theatres (the
Southern, 1896; the Palace, a 1926 vaudeville house; the Ohio, a 1928 movie
palace); the Contemporary American Theatre Company has an evening of short
plays up at the moment, in the Riffe Center across from the State House;
the Reality Theatre has a good production of _As Bees in Honey Drown_ in
the Short North district, while the King Arts Complex has a hip-hop
adaptation of _Macbeth_ that's interesting, at least. And lots of great
restaurants.
