I have been sent details of this conference, some museum-lers may be
interested. We are not connected with this at all, so please direct any
questions to the email address below.

My apologies if you receive more than one copy of this message.

TAG EUROPE - THE PREMIER INTERNATIONAL EVENT IN
RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION

The tracking and tracing of diverse items such as human beings, pets,
museum exhibits, clothing, and pharmaceuticals are becoming as essential
as automotive and computer control proliferates. What is confusing is
which tag does what? Can the data change? What costs? What frequencies?
Until now, there has been no central event, which will enable potential
users of this exciting new technology to obtain awareness of how RFID
can help their business.

Organisers, Baltic Conventions UK, recognised the gap in this expanding
market and are delighted to present TAG Europe 98 - the first ever event
devoted entirely to RFID and the only event of its kind in Europe.

The conference, which takes place from 24 to 26 June 1998 at the Holiday
Inn Crowne Plaza, Antwerp, will offer delegates the opportunity to
obtain an exclusive overview of RFID technology and the key developments
taking place that will carry this dynamic industry through to the next
millennium. TAG Europe will also give delegates an invaluable
opportunity to network key with the key decision-makers within the RFID
industry.

Users of automatic tagging devices will also have the chance to meet
with manufacturers and providers of RFID technology in the TAG Europe 98
Exhibition, which takes place alongside the conference at the Holiday
Inn from 24 to 26 June.

Amongst the high-profile organisations presenting throughout the three-
day convention are: Phillips Semiconductors Gratkorn GmbH, Texas
Instruments, The RFID Consortium, AIM Europe, AIM International,
Symbology Strategy Inc, AMTECH, Omron Europe, MICRON Communications,
Diamond Checkpoint, European Radio Communication Office, Book Industry
Study Group, Bolt Consult, Eurodata, Uniform Code Council Dayton; First
Group Southampton City Bus, and Intermec.

Conference places are also restricted to a first-come first-served
basis. Interested companies should contact Louise Armfield, marketing
manager, Baltic Conventions on telephone +44 181 892 2892, fax +44 181
892 6767, Email: [log in to unmask]
