CURATORIAL ASSISTANT (entry level position)


Part-time (20-30 hours per week) position open for Curatorial Assistant at
established, yet growing midwestern art center.  Candidates should possess
a B.A. in art history or B.F.A. in a visual art discipline (or substitute a
minimum of 3 years extensive administrative contact with contemporary art
and artists) with M.A. in art history or arts administration preferred;
min. 1 year museum or gallery experience; min. 1 year experience working
with contemporary regional art and living artists; and extensive computer
skills including database, word processing, and Internet.  Interest in
museum education helpful.  Salary commensurate with qualifications and
experience.
