I won't spend much time on this, but I agree completely with those
who are critical of sucking the names from a listserv list and
calling it a directory.
 
Has this lists manager been consulted? contacted? given permission?
I think a policy or ethical decision may rest with him.  Is Walt
Henry giving the database his distribution list of museum conservators?
