You may want to contact Klaus Hendricks.  Klaus was the director of
the Conservation Research Division of the National Archives of Canada
in Ottawa.  There has been a bit of shuffling lately so I'm not sure
exactly where Klaus is.  I believe his division is now connected with
the Canadian Conservation Institute (CCI) in Ottawa.  I don't have a
contact number or address for Klaus but you may try contacting CCI
(613 998-3721) and ask them.
